When I look back at my previous blog post I don’t know if I should laugh or cry. Early 2020. So many tours and trips planned, so many meetings that didn’t happen. We have all had a very strange couple of years (yes, it’s almost two years now) but I think that sex workers’ lives have changed more than most others’.

Most of us have not been able to work as before, many not at all. We have had to take extreme measures to keep ourselves, our clients and loved ones safe while at the same time trying to make a living. It has not been easy but sex workers are survivors and we have found ways, including online work and local fundraisers for sex workers in areas with lockdown.

I would like to thank all my clients who have stuck with me during these two years. Those who have sent me friendly messages, booked digital dinner dates or sent me gifts from my wish list (including a year’s supply of popcorn). Those who have booked dates during the time when irl meets have been possible, and those who have helped me pay rent by paying for my secret gallery. I really appreciate you!

As the situation continues to change and develop, I look forward to being able to travel to see you all again (especially my clients and friends abroad)! In the meantime, as long as there is no lockdown in Germany, I will continue to see a select few clients who are vaccinated or can provide a recent negative test result. And for everyone else, there is still the possibility to book an online dinner date or to see my secret gallery.
